Richard Kennedy DipSW BA Hons

Richard qualified as a Social Worker in 2005.  Richard’s Social Work experience includes supporting client's with complex needs and disabilities acquired through birth trauma, medical negligence or life changing incidents.  He also has experience within statutory immediate needs teams and adolescent outreach services. He proactively advocates for his clients and their families.  He is involved in the recruitment and retention of therapy teams.  He works collaboratively with clients, their families, involved professionals and the Court of Protection.  He provides care sourcing and management to secure and sustain the best support packages for clients.

Jennifer Mellor Dip SpLD BA Hons PGCE QTS MEd

Jennifer qualified as a Teacher in 1998.  She has experience of working productively in the statutory and private sectors.  She has worked in senior leadership and advisory positions in schools, multi academy trusts, local authorities and charities.  She has a Masters Degree in Special Educational Needs and Inclusion.  She is a qualified Teacher and Assessor of individuals with Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia) and routinely assesses young people for access arrangements.  She has been a university lecturer and tutor for the National Special Educational Needs Coordinator course. She conducts Pupil Premium Reviews and Special Educational Needs Reviews in Schools.  She provides training to stakeholders regarding education and disabilities.  Jennifer advocates for client’s and their families.

Jennifer is registered with and regulated by the Teaching Regulation Agency an executive agency with the Department of Education.

Johnathan Le-Pine BA Hons MA

Johnathan qualified as a Social Worker in 2019. He has experience working in the statutory and private sectors, conducting thorough assessments to address immediate needs for the safety and welfare of children and their families.

His collaborative and empathetic approach allows for effective tailoring of interventions. He has strong report-writing skills. He navigates various contexts and professional support networks, advocating for the best interests of his clients and contributing to long-term wellbeing strategies.

Tess Fleet BA Hons

Tess provides business support for Care to Educate. Tess holds a BA Hons in Health And Welfare (Social Policy).  She has extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant  supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities in an education setting.  Tess has also held credit control positions within an insurance company.  She provides efficient business support services to Care to Educate and its clients.

Rhys Kennedy

Rhys provides technology support for Care to Educate. He is studying for a Degree in Computing Science. He has volunteered as a Digital Champion supporting a range of people to effectively access and utilise technology.
